  1. Dear Isabel,
I think that to create a blog based on a unique topic is a great idea, I liked that idea very much. Also, I have always thought that teaching English through another subject, in this case History, is a very good idea and I don’t know if it was your purpose but you got it. However, I think it’s difficult to make English appealing for Primary students with these topics (Prehistory, archaeology,…) and including so many difficult words; it’s not as motivational as it could be. But maybe for the oldest ones it would be fine…
Generally, I think that activities you suggest are correct, but there are some broken links you should delete from the Introduction (I think you have introduced them by mistake and if you click on the text to introduce the blog the blog disappears) and, in this post, I should also revise the link, so it would be opened in another window and the blog window would remain. Apart from that, I assume that the file it is opened when you download it it’s a Hot Potatoes file because the website link you have created is going to expiry in a few days, isn’t it? Before concluding, I think that a quiz is a very good idea to conclude this blog (in this case, your own unit) but maybe this one is too easy for one of the oldest groups, the ones I will offer this type of activities.
    Kind regards,
    Mrs Enjoyment

    1. I agree with you, Júlia, the problem here is that I published the URL with google drive because with the URL in hotpotatoes I would lose the activity in 7 days. So I included this one and when you open you should download the activity and you are shown the answers and, then, you have to create the webpage to be able to play the game. So the solution I can find here is that the person who opens the file will be the teacher, quickly, and the students could see that on the screen. It would be like a "memory game" because they are shown the vocabulary at first and then they read the clues and they can try to remember. It could be like the quiz you mention in your comment for this topic because it is expected to be changed every week. Otherwise, I don't know how to share a hotpotatoes activity because if you don't hang it the same week, the link won't work properly.
      Thanks for your comment.

  3. The idea of learning English about a topic greatly helps students in learning vocabulary and express themselves.
I do not agree with Mrs Enjoyment, the subject of prehistory seems very interesting and attractive. My kids love and can learn in a fun and entertaining.
    Kind regards.
